The BUZZ!  What folks are saying ...

"Maddie had a blast performing with you!!!  She is feeling so very confident because of your impeccable teaching and positive attitude."  ~Valerie Brisco, Lake Highlands

"Jacqueline, thank you!!!  Audrey had a ball and was so proud of her “first public performance” as she sees it. Your choreography was so refreshing — truly wonderful to watch.  I was so impressed with the Rudolph number -- you showcase the older talent and younger talent so well.  You went out of your way on this one, and I personally appreciate your enthusiasm and talent. Bravo!"  ~Jill Magnuson, Highland Park

"I was thrilled to be a part of this very special performance for very special little girls.  Sophia had a ball! Thank you so much for your brilliant choreography and for inviting us to participate."  ~ Andrea Lasley, University Park

"Madeleine is thoroughly enjoying working with you and we are happy that fate has brought us together. No doubt she would train with you every day if she could!  ~ Stephanie Case, Frisco

As always, thank you for all the individual attention you give to Ella!"

Hi Jacqueline!  I just wanted to let you know what an amazing job I think you are doing with these girls!  I am Lissie's mom from the Tuesday 4pm class.

People have asked me what I think of this new dance class all of these girls are taking and I can't say enough wonderful things about you.  Somehow, you manage the perfect balance between fun and discipline.  Lissie comes home and practices, practices during the week, and NEVER complains when it is time to go to dance.  She came from (another prominent school), and although she liked it, she complained every week when it was time to go.

I love your style.  You not only teach them technique, you also teach etiquette.  I love it!  You are strict but let them cut up just enough to have fun with it!  You have set your boundaries with the girls and it SEEMS as if they know them and know not to cross them.  They all respect you.  But always feel free to let me know if there is a problem.

Thanks for being the "old school" dance teacher that I have searched for for Lissie!  You are what I remember from growing up and have wanted Lissie to have but have had no luck finding.  Your class could be a Children's book!  It reminds me a little bit of Angelina Ballerina! =)

Sorry to be so long winded.  I have just been praising this class all over town and thought I should really be telling YOU how great you and the class are!

Have a great weekend,

Dear Jacqueline,

Thank you so much for the wonderful class yesterday.  It was even better than I hoped for -- seeing those children flap their wings and find such joy in the moment --that's what this job is all about for me.  Thank you for making that happen!  I'm looking forward to "First Tuesdays" with you again next month!!

Hi Jacqueline,

Following up from our wonderful group dance lesson, I wanted to thank you again for your inspiration, time, and effort to help us create a truly special dance.  It is amazing we were able to create this meaningful dance in just one evening!  What a testament to your skill as a teacher as well as the gift of inspiration with your energy and encouragement!  The rest of our class not in attendance for the lesson greatly enjoyed viewing the video and received a copy of it to review and begin to learn for potential future performance.  We are still considering the idea of giving the dance/choreography to Pathways as one of our class gifts.  Thanks again and hope to meet you on the dance floor again someday.

Sincerely,

Jacqueline,

Just wanted to thank you again for all of your help with the dance. As we started to walk into the wedding reception after being announced, Margaret tripped on her dress which was a bit of scare going into it, but it went really well in the end!  My father can be a tough critic at times, but as you can see below, he complimented us on the dance without prompting which says a lot. You were an enormous help. We'll send you the video of us when we get it if you would like and will send any of our friends to you that we can find!

And, by the way, the dance was terrific.  That must have come from a recessive gene :)

Hi Ms. Jacqueline!

I must tell you I was really surprised at how well my son Lo'ren has taken to your dance class.  I think he is very comfortable in the class and that is due largely to how firm, yet kind and encouraging you are with the kids.  I was very impressed with the level of structure you provide and the level of discipline you require in the class.  I really wanted to help Lo'ren overcome some of his shyness and standoffishness, to learn to focus his attention, be aware of and control his body and to learn some formal and structured dance.  So many of the activities you perform in the class accomplish many of the things I wanted Lo'ren to get exposure to.  I really don't know where he picked up that dancing and spinning on the ground that he demonstrated in class last Saturday... he loves to throw his body around at home and call it dancing... he just really loves movement.  I am beyond happy with the class and can tell that the class gives Lo'ren a real sense of pride.  My husband wasn't crazy about the idea of putting Lo'ren in a dance class and he is even less thrilled with the fact that Lo'ren is the only boy in the class...but I've assured him that Lo'ren is happy and comfortable in the class and that is all that matters.  I can only hope that this is the beginning of his enjoyment with dance and that he will be able to enjoy it for many many years to come.
